She adored children and adored her subject, so we were delighted with her and what we did with her. I loved to write! But in a couple of years, she married and moved to another city, and we had another teacher who made a completely different impression. I didn't want to write anymore. I'm lucky I found essayhave review and ordered all my essays from them. Otherwise, I would get the worst grades and felt as if I was betraying my favorite teacher.Geraldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05012779954349378731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3268361743015617057.post-43857914895782216242014-01-03T14:48:13.174-06:002014-01-03T14:48:13.174-06:00Thanks for stopping by Carla! Thanks for the heads up - I'll be thinking about it this week at work and hopefully catch some kiddos in action around school for the post! :-)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181911443250232670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3268361743015617057.post-24109909717396835112014-01-03T14:46:32.241-06:002014-01-03T14:46:32.241-06:00Hey Kasey - Wish I could take credit for that Rehe...Hey Kasey - Wish I could take credit for that Rehearsal, but that's Lucy Calkins. She's brilliant and I became a new teacher when I read her stuff....in addition to Fletcher and a few others. I'm glad it's something you can use with your kiddos, too!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181911443250232670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3268361743015617057.post-67677280207034411792014-01-03T14:33:47.273-06:002014-01-03T14:33:47.273-06:00Michelle...what a great post! The idea of calling that point before students start writing "rehearsal", I LOVE! Also, your point about the importance of sharing at the end-couldn't agree more!

Kasey
Middle School Teacher to Literacy Coachmiddleschoolteachertoliteracycoachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02723130657428914024noreply@blogger.com
